The DAP Chapbook: Voice + Vision contends with DAP demands 05: Center Community Leadership in Design and Planning, 06 Protect, Create, and Reclaim Public Space through Liberatory Planning & Policy, and 07 Cultivate Antiracist Visions for Affordable and Just Neighborhoods. This collection foregrounds community agency in shaping the design processes and public space by drawing on a range of methods-including poetry, oral histories, mapping, strategic planning, and design toolkits. This will examine how the built environment reflects violent histories of exclusion, while imagining new possibilities for liberatory practice.
